Wursta is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer and Customer Engineer who is passionate about building cloud native solutions and eager to learn new technologies. In-depth knowledge of front-end languages, tools, and patterns, including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux (or similar) is required. While this is a hands-on coding position, the hope is that you will take on leadership of the team as we grow. And we’re growing quickly!

 

In this role you will lead conversations with customers to articulate their vision and scope what’s possible. Contributing to the overall approach, processes, and architecture of the solutions, you will act as team lead, writing code to power the user interface, and directing a team of engineers to build and launch web experiences that meet customer expectations.

 

Wursta has a pipeline of diverse development projects ranging from high-profile NFT marketplaces to enterprise software. You'll have the opportunities to gain exposure to technologies and skills that you've had an interest in but have been unable to pursue in a professional environment. In particular, you’ll have the opportunity to learn a ton about Google Cloud Platform and web 3.

This position is located at our new office in Austin, TX. Remote employees in CO, FL, GA, IA, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, and TX may be considered.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience building resilient, highly available and scalable cloud native platforms and solutions. 
  • 5+ years of experience building responsive web applications with HTML, CSS, and Javascript, including React.js, Node.js, and typescript. Experience with mobile-first preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a client services environment, ideally in a professional services agency.
  • 5+ years of experience with JSON and API integrations.
  • 2+ years of experience as a cloud-native developer, experience with a cloud provider (AWS, Google, Azure) GCP Preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 3 years of experience with Git.
  • Exposure to SDLC and continuous delivery tool sets: Cloud Build, CodeDeploy, and Jenkins or comparable tools.
  • Understanding of and experience working within Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
  • Exposure to web 3 or willingness to learn.
