As a Wursta Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for managing the prospect pipeline, tracking opportunities, and strategizing with the Sales team to help grow our business. You will communicate Google Workspace & Google Cloud value propositions clearly and concisely via phone, email, and social channels with prospects and your team. You will iterate on your process daily, weekly, and monthly in order to build a prospect pipeline for our Sales team.

The best candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, basic knowledge of Google Workspace and GCP offerings, and is looking to start their career in sales/account management/marketing. This is a unique opportunity to learn and grow by helping to build out Wursta’s sales development role as one of the department’s first hires.

This position is located at our new office in Austin, TX. Remote employees in CO, FL, GA, IA, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, and TX may be considered.

  • Schedule initial meetings with IT and company leaders for our Sales Executives and provide detailed notes on the prospect’s needs
  • Meet minimum daily call and email quota to move leads down the sales funnel
  • Prospect new contacts and accounts that match our ideal customer profiles
  • Update existing contacts and accounts in our CRM and maintain good CRM hygiene in Salesforce
  • Conduct personalized, multi-channel outbound prospecting to engage your target accounts
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders so that the meetings you schedule happen and reschedule if not
  • Help achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets through execution of various demand generation activities

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong desire to learn about the technology space and pursue a career in sales, account management, or marketing
  • Basic knowledge of Google Workspace and GCP offerings
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate the value Google services and Wursta provide to prospective customers
  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships quickly, both internally and externally
  • Must be self-motivated, ambitious, and collaborative
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Prior inside sales or partner experience is a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
